Moments in Time

A man with a story, aged and worn, tired from the years, James Olafsson settle amidst the palpably obscure, lost in his thoughts and his memories, longing to once more find himself in that dream that had come to encompass his life. Yet time, it passes no man and now… now he finds all that he has left are his letters and his pictures and a tale that has been waited a generation to be told.

The maverick from Montana, Senator Olafsson is young, charismatic and charming, yet passionately intense. It seems that there is little that stands in his way as the road to ambition is paved in front of him. He’s waited, built and now the doors are opened to him and there’s little else left that he wants. Yet haunted, he thinks of the life he could have had, the life that seems to have alluded him all these years, knowing there is no such thing as second chances.

Chapter Two of Montana Skies sets the stage of the story amidst the turbulent times of the late 1960’s as it paints the picture of the young Senator full of unbridled hope and ambition, as he finds himself cast into the limelight that he has sought. Dreams of the White House and the Oval Office mark his way. Yet he can’t seem to escape this feeling, this lingering thought… that possibly something is missing…
